It could have been the weather or the 250 fantastic exhibitors at this year's Expo, but the 23rd Nyngan AG Expo was a great success on Saturday.

People hailed from around NSW and beyond to witness the expo day.
Ag Expo Committee Chairman, Rod Dewhurst said gate takings are up on previous years.
The weather, a balmy 23 degrees, was a common topic of the day and the chairman believes this could be a reason people were more inclined to visit the Expo.
"The weather was just perfect and around Nyngan the seasons have been good," he said.
"But there were a lot of people there from places that aren't having good seasons on such as Bourke and Brewarrina.
"There were a fairly good spread of people from Cobar, Trundle and Tottenham."
Mr Dewhurst said he spoke to a lot of the exhibitors and they all seemed pretty happy.
"We had every major machinery dealer this side of Dubbo come out and put in a huge amount of effort," he said.
Mick Carey from Western Farm Machinery said the trip is well worth the effort.
"We had a few people come back and a lot of interest but it's more about the exposure," he said.
"You put yourself out there, it's a big expense to do this.
"But if people like what they see come to the yard, we're based in Warren."
Another highlight for first-time chairman, Mr Dewhurst, was the sheep show.
"It's a terrific sheep show, there are only about one or two bigger than us," he said.
"We had a huge variety, every type of sheep, not like other sheep shows like Dubbo or Hay where they are just Merinos."
Mr Dewhurst also drew attention to the highly populated food and wine tent saying some caters beckoned from as far as Canberra.
"I thought the food and wine tent was excellent," he said.
For Trevor Palmer of Cobar, the best part of the Expo is the annual Show 'n' Shine which he brings his Holden in for.
"For five or six years I've been doing up cars, this is the cars for the shows, I have a Corvet but I don't get it out," he said on Saturday.
"I'll have to leave here before 2.30pm so I don't hit any 'roos on the way home."
Mr Dewhurst said the Expo would not have come together without the effort of the committee in particular administrator Robyn Harris.
"Hugh thanks to Robyn Harris and the hard working committee," he said.
"All the exhibitors put in a huge effort, coming from places like Newcastle and Tamworth, they travel a long way."
The committee has a debrief and small break now before they throw themselves into planning next year.
"We'll debrief now, see where we can improve and we'll start organising next year," Mr Dewhurst said.
