The forum will be held in Broken Hill on August 4 and 5.

Mr Golinski will share his wealth of experience and expertise with forum participants as he features as the key note speaker at the forum dinner on Friday, August 4.

Through his role as the Food and Culinary Tourism Ambassador, Mr Golinski has become highly influential in the Gympie region which has allowed him to put their produce on the map.

Western Local Land Services Regional Landcare facilitator, Fiona Garland believes Mr Golinski’s wealth of knowledge will be valuable in developing ideas for promoting the produce of the Western region.

“Through his work in Gympie and his blog ‘Matt eats Gympie’ Matt has demonstrated that it’s possible to put a region on the map through its food,” Ms Garland said.

“We believe we have a very unique product in the Western region and would like to use Matt’s expertise to help us with ideas for promoting the quality of our own Western produce.”

Mr Golinski was also involved in Beef Australia 2015, an event that not only promoted the benefits of eating different cuts of beef but the concept that Australian Beef is a clean, green, sustainable industry, unique in the world market place.

Forum participants will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with Mr Golinski through a series of cooking demonstration workshops.

The workshops will feature as part of the forum program and are supported by Beef Australia.
