Held at the Dubbo Showgrounds from September 14-16, the annual event not only attracts camping enthusiasts or grey nomads, but families wanting to see the latest products on offer.
Loretta Payne, from Rural Scene Promotions, said exhibitors come from across NSW but also as far as Queensland, Victoria and even Western Australia.
Fairfax Media visited the Show on the Friday and Ms Payne said so far it had been going really well.
“This year is the highest number of caravan (exhibitors) we’ve ever had in Dubbo,” she said. “Which is amazing considering the drought.”
Ms Payne said in thew past people have travelled as far as Bourke, Warren, Lightning Ridge and Coonamble to attend.
She believes what keeps the show so popular was the great and wide variety of products.
“To get the same great product they (people in the central west) have to go to Sydney. Why go to Sydney when you can come here?,” Ms Payne said.
“(By coming here) They’re supporting businesses that have come to Dubbo, spent money in town of fuel, food and accommodation.
“Exhibitors support the town very strongly.”

A number of local clubs volunteered at the show.
The Rotary Club of Dubbo Macquarie were manning the gates, while another Lions Club and the PCYC were cooking a barbecue.
The Foyal Flying Doctor Service also had a free site.
“Money goes back into Dubbo,” Ms Payne said.
“We don’t just come and go. We support the town if we need anything.”
