In its second year running the day takes place when the Narromine Gorillas play the Dubbo Roos.
The day remembers a well-known farmer and former Gorillas' player, sponsor, coach and avid supporter, Glenn Browning, who committed suicide in July 2012.
Despite losing the football it was a win for all of Narromine raising more than $4500 for mental health.
More than $1000 of the money will go to the R U OK? charity which encourages Australians to ask their loved ones if they're okay.
The remaining money goes to the Beat the Breakdown fund which goes back into mental health in the local community.
Gorillas' sub-committee member Sarah Browning said this year was about more than raising money.
"This year was about raising awareness and the importance of having the conversations with the people around us, asking if you're okay rather than raising money," she said.
