Rural crime investigators are inquiring into the theft of 50 head of sheep from a Warren property over three weeks.

Between October 8 and 24, 50 merino mixed-age ewes were stolen from a Warren property near the intersection of Warren and Carinda Road and the Gibsons Way.

NSW Police Rural Crime police officers said the ewes have ear tags marked NH560782, a registered ear mark of a mirrored right-angled triangle at the top and bottom of ear.

NSW Rural Crime investigators said foreign truck tracks were noticed along a fence line.
