“We had many sponsor parents from Dubbo and the central west in attendance,” Dione Carter said.
“The night raised $22,000 which is a wonderful result with 160 people in attendance.
“This money will go directly to finishing off the dining hall and kitchen at our private school in Uganda.”
The funds will also help to install a satellite dish at the school so the children for the first time will be able to learn how to use the internet.
Life Charity Focus is a voluntary run organisation who help support needy and vulnerable children and their families in Budaka Uganda, we also help feed and educate 500 children at the private school.
Ms Carter thanked the Dubbo Turf Club for a great venue and the wonderful volunteers who continue to help at fundraising events.
“We would like to thank everyone who attended and our Major Sponsors Awb Grainflow, Suncorp Bank and all the generous businesses who supported the auction with great prizes,” she said.
Nyngan will hold their annual LCF ball in March 2019.
