Rodeo thrills and spills return to Forbes on Saturday March 16.

Entries are now open online, with all our favourite events from the junior and local events, the steer riding to the calf roping, steer wrestling, saddle bronc and bullride.

Event organiser Shaun Read said you'll see it all on Saturday March 16.

The hotly contested Jaye Davie Memorial Steer Ride and the Paddy Molloy Buckle for the best all-rounder will be making a return in this year's program. To be eligible for the buckle, competitors need to compete in both timed and roughstock events.

Also on offer for junior riders, there is Eileen Molloy Memorial Poddy Ride.

To sign up, go online to abcra.com.au Central Entry and follow directions from there.

Early bird tickets for the rodeo are already available online at 123tix, but tickets will also be available at the gate on the day.

Gates open at 10am for the enthusiastic and the rodeo will continue through the afternoon and into the evening.

Mr Read said the main performance starts at 3pm and they expect all of the events to wrap up by 8:30pm.

This year sees the introduction of a big screen showing all of the action in the chute before the riders head out to the arena.

Once the riders head out to of the chute you will not miss any of the thrills and spills with replays on the big screen.

There will be EFTPOS at the bar to build on feedback from last year.

Mr Read said everything is shaping up for a great day out at the Forbes Showground.
