Organisers were optimistic that this year's festival would attract a bigger number of visitors than last year, with that event topping out at 5000 visitors throughout the day.
"We were probably down a little bit," organiser Jan Pullbrook said.
"But we still got several thousand, which is really good with the Burrendong classic not being on, we usually get a lot of people coming through from that."
"It was all pretty good, perfect weather of course, we had a very good street parade with support from the Wellington motor club and a lot of vintage vehicles and the like."
"I think people really enjoyed it, especially the railway opening, that's had a lot of restoration done and a lot of people wanted to get inside and look around."
Ms Pullbrook thanked all the stall owners, performers and the hardworking committee members.
"And all the locals who came out and supported us."
