There may not have been a parade for the first time in Winter Magic's history but that didn't keep the crowds away from Katoomba on Saturday, June 22.
Katoomba Street was a fairly solid wall of people, some dressed up, meandering around the stalls and stopping to hear groups of drummers, dancers and musicians ply their wares.
And the noon performance of Hands, Heart & Feet in the Carrington driveway was as energetic and exhilarating as ever.
There were 10 different venues hosting local musical talent throughout the day. A fireworks display at 6.30pm outside the Carrington was set to be a fitting finale.
