NSW Governor meets with farmers at Chamber Breakfast | Photos

LoveMerino founder and Wellington farmer Pip Smith recently met with the NSW Governor Margaret Beazley at a Dubbo Chamber of Commerce breakfast during her visit to the region.

Ms Smith, together with her daughter Maggie, attended the breakfast which was held at Taronga Western Plains Zoo earlier this month.

"It was lovely... we're so blessed to have some genuine people like her (Ms Beazley) and her husband (Dennis Wilson) represent us in NSW," Ms Smith said.

"She spoke beautifully and she's very focused on community.... it was very inspiring listening to her story.

"Mr Wilson was really lovely to speak to and genuinely interested in finding out about us."

Ms Smith and her husband launched LoveMerino in 2016 where they produce high-quality Merino garments, including scarves.

On behalf of the Business Chamber, she was also able to present the NSW Governor wither her very own LoveMerino scarf.

Nyngan's James Cleaver, who is currently employed as a rural support worker for the NSW Department of Primary Industries, also attended and spoke at the event.
