The Walkers have been well-respected hosts at the pub for years and continue to please locals with good beer, service, food and friendship.
Their award was announced last week at the 2019 Australian Hotels Association's (AHA) NSW Awards of Excellence. The much-loved pub edged out the Nevertire Hotel who received a highly commended.
Mr Walker said it was a "pretty amazing" feeling to win for the second year in a row.
"It's very humbling and it probably shows that after nearly 13 years hard work pays off," he added.
The publican said the win was rewarding not only for them, but for the staff, community and supporters. The Hotel and Mr Walker were also finalists in the Heart of the Community category and Individual Hotel Operator of the Year.
To make it a hat-trick next year, Mr Walker said the Armatree Hotel would just "keep up the good work."
Some 600 nominations were received for the industry's most prestigious awards across 45 categories.
AHA NSW CEO John Whelan said it was pleasing to see so many regional hotels entering when many had been doing it tough in drought-stricken, and bushfire ravaged communities.
