The caves suspended all tours due to COVID-19. On June 1 the facility welcomed people back to the cafe and Visitor Experience Centre, but underground tours were still prohibited.
However, updated information on the Wellington Caves website said from Monday, tours of the Cathedral Cave will be running with reduced numbers.
"Due to government restrictions the Fossil and Phosphate Mine and the Gaden Cave remain closed as they have not been deemed COVID Safe," the post stated.

The caves is also starting new fossil finding sessions.
Participants will be able to discover fossils from one million years ago by digging through dirt from the Fossil and Phosphate Mine, while learning about Australian megafauna.
While some attractions like the Wellington Caves and Old Dubbo Gaol will be open for school holidays, Dubbo Regional Council still has restrictions in place.
Not all reserves are currently open.
Sandy Beach and Devils Elbow reserves can be visited, while the Terramungamine and Ponto Falls Reserve camping sites are closed.
The Stuart Town Recreation Ground is also closed.
The council says they are closed because the NSW Public Health Order prohibits opening sites that are unattended.
Under the COVID-19 rules, records about who is in the campgrounds must be kept.
The reserves will remain closed until the COVID-19 restrictions are relaxed.
Barbecue facilities and drinking fountains throughout the Dubbo local government area have also been switched off.
