NSW squared the season up last week to set up tonight's showdown, but they will need to overcome more than just the players lining up against them to win tonight at Suncorp. They'll be battling history - and statistics - too.
The Blues have won just two deciders at Suncorp Stadium in the 40-year history of Origin, and just one of the past eight deciders anywhere.
In contrast, Queensland has lost only twice at the ground since 2010 and they have dominated game three when a series is on the line - winning 13 to the Blues' five, with two draws.
While having Cameron Munster cleared to play after a head knock last week will may have some Blues quaking in their boots, what may give NSW some hope is that the Maroons will head into the decider with four Origin debutants.
A groin injury to Xavier Coates means Edrick Lee will make his first Maroons appearance. The other debutants include Brenko Lee, Corey Allan and Harry Grant.
The Blues line-up will remain unchanged. It's the first time since 2017 that NSW have kept the same 1-17 for consecutive games.
