Cobar and Nyngan have been quite cool compared to the monthly average.
The Bureau of Meteorology is reporting that the working week especially will see temperatures return to what is normally expected.
Cobar's hottest day this month is 34.2 degrees but this is likely to change on Monday as maximum temperatures are set to exceed 35 degrees for the entire working week.
Much of the same is expected for Nyngan as Thursday is shaping to be the hottest day of the month so far when it is forecasted to peak at 41 degrees.
There is also a slim chance that rainfall will increase with much of the region facing a dry, hot week.
