An event such as the Inland Growth Summit cannot be coordinated without community guidance and assistance. As a team, RDA Orana has been working hard to bring together a range of speakers and presenters in order to provide the most relevant and up to date information about the current needs of the region.

At the moment, there are 'More Jobs than People' and this will represent the theme of the event. Employers are struggling to maintain labour needs and there is a definite demand for additional workforce numbers.

Across inland Australia, the impact of labour shortages is evident along with the inability to keep up with demand and the ongoing need for businesses to grow. In the Orana region, the greatest requirement lies in the core industries of mining, health, hospitality and agriculture.

The Inland Growth Summit brings together representatives of these industries to discuss their needs and to work together to seek solutions. It will be an event where industry leaders will discuss this critical issue and explore solutions for policy makers, government, businesses and industries to implement and action.

The day will feature a number of keynote speakers and leaders and an important aspect of the Inland Growth Summit is the opportunity to network with like-minded people. RDA Orana will continue working with business in the future to increase workforce, to create openings, forge partnerships, keep our communities strong and encourage locals helping locals.

From a business perspective, this can enhance viability, production, supply and export opportunities. The 2021 event will also feature a networking dinner to provide participants with a chance to meet and forge these connections.

It is anticipated that more than 100 business, government and key stakeholders will attend the 2021 Inland Growth Summit in person from across NSW. There will also be the option of virtual attendance.

The Inland Growth Summit 'More Jobs than People' will be held at Dubbo's Lazy River Estate on February 26. For tickets, visit http://landing.rdaorana.org.au/inland-growth-summit-2021
