Recruiting new apprentices across the dealership network has always been a priority for O'Connors.

"Formalising the program and process with the launch of our REDSTART Apprenticeship Program has been an exciting unveiling and we are eager to see the talent and growth that will be revealed throughout the program," human resources manager Lisa Day said.

"Building relationships with local schools, encouraging work experience and work placement opportunities and partnering with community groups will continue to be a priority for O'Connors, a family-owned business with the same core values embedded in the culture as when they began back in 1964.

"It is so important to build these relationships within our local communities due to the regional nature of each of our locations.

"We want to attract, train and retain the best service technicians in the business. Growing our own talent has been a long-standing philosophy and with this program in place, it enables us to develop our structured framework and continue to build on what we can offer our apprentices while they are training, and long into the future."

The program is suited to candidates who are passionate about agriculture, have a mechanical interest, have strong problem-solving skills, show dedication to training and development opportunities.
